About:
Hi I’m Catherine,
I’m the designer here at Catherine Rose Design, a design studio dedicated to introducing and providing holistic interior design for my clients.
I’m originally from Southern California and I’m currently residing in Washington, D.C. I graduated from San Jose State University in 2014 with a BFA in Interior Design and I have 10 years of design experience.
As a sensitive soul myself, I have always known how important it is to have a healing environment that supports my wellbeing. Ever since I was small, I have created places of rest and creativity to engage my inner self and recharge. These self-care focused environments allow me to bring my best self to those that I love, and to the rest of the world. I want you to enjoy that experience in your home and environment too!
My wish is to make design a deeply healing part of people’s lives. I have a unique process that helps me connect to, and inspire my clients’ deeper selves. Everyone has a creative voice, and my job as your designer is to help you to bring your imagination to life, through your feelings and desires. Allow me to be your guide in the design universe toward a new environment that supports your energy, mind, body and soul.

• The Backstory
I graduated with a BFA in interior design in 2014. Since then I have worked as a designer in two brick and mortar design studios as well as two of the most well-known online interior design platforms. I always knew that clients were searching for more than just a beautiful room when they hired me. They were looking for a deeper sense in themselves that they can call home. I created Catherine Rose Design in May 2020 to pull this self-discovery process into the light. Creating on my own a space where my clients can discover their own creative self expression while following their deeper life desires.
